Home keys on the QWERTY keyboard
QWERTY refers to the layout for a standard computer keyboard, and is so-called from the order of the first six keys on the top left letter row of the keyboard.
The Home Keys are the keys your fingers must return to after typing any other keyand are the keys: “A-S-D-F” for the left hand and “J-K-L-;” for the right hand.
Touch Typing
is the skill of typing without looking at your keyboard to find the keys. With enough practice your fingers will get to know the location of all the keys on the keyboard.
