Social Media and Web Applications – JUMP Facebook, Instagram and 𝕏: From Likes to Tweets

In the previous module one, we introduced you to the world of social media and some of it’s more common platforms, benefits and some of the risks in its use. This module provides a practical hands-on tutorial for installing and using the three most popular social media applications.

At the end of the module students will be able to:

  • Install Facebook, Instagram and 𝕏 mobile apps
  • Sign up for Facebook, Instagram and 𝕏 accounts from the web.
  • Demonstrate at least five (5) functionalities of each App
  • Determine the appropriate account and security setting for each App
  • Apply the appropriate social media functionality for a typical online job task
